Zabbix
AvailableOn-Prem / Monitoring
Zabbix contributes network topology and monitoring coverage signals to Koopic's risk model. An asset actively monitored by Zabbix has known-good network reachability data - interface details, host groups, and real-time alert state - that helps characterize its exposure. Assets missing Zabbix agents despite being in the inventory may represent blind spots in operational visibility. Koopic reads host records, interface configurations, host group assignments, and active alert counts to enrich the unified asset view.
Signal in your risk score
Data from Zabbix flows into Koopic's unified asset inventory and shapes how vulnerabilities are scored. Koopic combines asset context - exposure, control presence, criticality - with CVSS severity, EPSS exploit probability, and CISA KEV membership to produce a single, explainable risk score per vulnerability per asset. A CVSS 9.8 on a segmented host with a compensating control scores lower than a CVSS 7.4 on an internet-exposed, unmanaged endpoint with no control in place.
What Zabbix contributes to risk scoring
How to connect
Deploy the Koopic Agent
Run the Agent container on a machine with access to your Zabbix server API endpoint.
Configure Zabbix credentials
Enter the Zabbix API URL, username, and password in the Agent WebUI credential vault.
Set up the collector
Add a Zabbix collector in the Agent, specifying the API version and host group filters.
Schedule and push
Configure the collection schedule. Data is encrypted and pushed to Koopic Cloud automatically.
How teams use this data
Monitoring Coverage
Identify assets that exist in your CMDB or EDR but are missing Zabbix monitoring agents.
Alert Correlation
See Zabbix alert data alongside compliance status and EDR health in a single view.
Infrastructure Mapping
Use Zabbix host groups and interfaces to enrich your asset records with network topology.
